This video captures a new personal best lap time of 1:06.29 for the 2021 Toyota GR Yaris Rallye at One Raceway (formerly Wakefield Park Raceway) during the last track day of winter. The car is running with stock power (268HP) but features significant chassis and tire upgrades.
Conditions started challenging with freezing temperatures (-1°C) and low grip in the morning, gradually improving to 14°C by the afternoon. The driver noted that the 2021 Yokohama A050 255/40/18 tires were nearing the end of their life, contributing to some understeer, but the car maintained a solid feel overall.
The day began with lap times in the low 1:07s, progressing to consistent 1:06.5s before achieving the 1:06.29 PB around 2:30 PM.
