Set a new PB of 1:05.1s in the 7th Gen Civic at Lime Rock with Masstuning! Managed to beat my previous PB from march of this year by over 1.7 seconds! Better tires and suspension setup definitely made a difference. Could have gotten into the 1:04s if I took turn 1 more aggressive and didn't lift at the apex of turn 4. Next time!
Included some highlights of the day at the end.
Ended up glazing my brakes in the very first session after only a handful of warm up laps. Went into turn 1 on the first push lap and couldn't get her stopped in time. Pedal went dead. A quick "sanding" of the pads on the pavement had her back up and running like a top!
