Qualified 5th based on Saturday’s lap times. Intense battles and some aggressive racing throughout the field. I put myself in a position I believed would work, but ultimately it led to contact and a disqualification.
After reviewing it, the key lesson was commitment. I needed to be fully up on the curb—leaving any extra room meant the responsibility stayed with me when contact occurred. Tough result, but a valuable learning experience.
