Fastest lap, a 1:55.84, around Carolina Motorsports Park (CMP) in a 2006 Mazda MX-5 Miata with Just Track It.
This was Just Track It's May CMP event, and the weather varied quite a bit on Day 1 between morning and afternoon sessions. All of my previous experience at CMP was with the Fit, so again, I needed to adjust my driving, now that I have horsepower and RWD. So, even though I don't feel like I had the best lines in this session/lap, this was still my fastest lap of the weekend because the temperatures were still cool, around the mid-70s Fahrenheit. Day 2 started above the 80s Fahrenheit, even in the morning, and the afternoons on both days were in the 90s. I may have lost a tenth or two behind the Corvette because I braked slightly earlier to avoid rear-ending him.
