Ride along in my 800hp Shelby GT500 Carbon Fiber Track Pack in this 4K video as I set a new personal best (2:06.5) on a full-send solo session and take a couple of my students for ride-alongs... one loved it. The other tapped out. It is a wild ride! The video finishes with a GoPro 360 Max montage of some fun on-track action! This was filmed Nov 30th 2024 during a combo member track day and intro to performance driving class. I drove as well as instructed.
The car is running Goodyear F1 3R tires, Hawk Performance DTC-70 front and DTC-60 rear brake pads as well as Motul RBF 700 brake fluid. It has been modified with the taller VMP Apex Predator supercharger lid, larger street intercooler and their closed-lid cold air intake.
