The city sits 75 kilometers from Nürburgring, providing direct access to one of the world's most legendary racing circuits. Koblenz serves as regional hub for motorsport enthusiasts with access to ADAC events, local motorsport clubs, and regular track days at the Nürburgring. The region supports active car culture through numerous meets and proximity to the famous Nordschleife.

Nürburgring (75 kilometers north, 1 hour via A48 and A61) offers both the legendary Nordschleife (20.8 kilometers, 73 turns) and modern Grand Prix Circuit (5.1 kilometers). The Nordschleife is open for Touristenfahrten (tourist drives) allowing enthusiasts to drive the track with their own vehicles.
