Anakee Adventure

The Michelin Anakee Adventure is designed for adventure and dual-purpose motorcycles, targeting riders who spend approximately 80% of their time on paved roads and 20% on unpaved tracks or trails. It aims to provide a balance of sport-touring performance on the road without compromising off-road capability. This tire is suitable for riders who own high-spec machines and enjoy long-range tours that may include some off-road sections.

The Anakee Adventure distinguishes itself with a focus on providing confidence-inspiring handling and grip across various conditions. Its silica-enhanced compound promotes exceptional grip on wet roads. The tire integrates Michelin's 2CT and 2CT+ technologies to enhance stability and wear resistance. The front tire uses 2CT technology, incorporating two different silica blends with a harder compound in the center for better wear and a softer compound on the shoulders for increased grip when leaning. The rear tire utilizes 2CT+ technology, layering a softer compound on top of a harder silica base on the shoulders to provide stability at high speeds and cornering ability.

The tread pattern is designed to balance on-road stability with off-road traction. It features a fully grooved geometric pattern intended to deliver uncompromising traction on unpaved surfaces. The profile and tread pattern are optimized to provide precise handling and long-lasting performance. Bridge block technology, also found on the Michelin Anakee Wild, is incorporated to enhance on-road stability. The Anakee Adventure was developed with BMW as the original equipment tire for the BMW R1250 GS.
