Suika Circuit Carte de la piste
Plus de détails, de temps au tour et de vidéos pour Suika Circuit

Suika Circuit, nestled in the rolling hills of central California, is a modern motorsport facility designed to challenge both driver and machine. Opened in 2015, the circuit was the brainchild of local racing enthusiast and entrepreneur, Amelia Vargas, who envisioned a track that blended high-speed sections with technical corners. The name "Suika," meaning watermelon in Japanese, is a nod to Vargas's heritage and the region's agricultural prominence.

The 2.8-mile (4.5 km) layout is a clockwise configuration featuring 14 turns. The design prioritizes flow, with a mix of sweeping curves, tight hairpins, and challenging esses. The signature section is "The Gauntlet," a series of three rapid-fire decreasing radius corners that demand precision and commitment. The circuit also boasts significant elevation changes, adding another layer of complexity. The main straight, at over half a mile, provides ample opportunity for overtaking and high-speed runs.

Suika Circuit is known for its smooth asphalt surface and state-of-the-art facilities, including modern garages, a well-equipped medical center, and ample spectator viewing areas. The track is FIA Grade 2 certified, allowing it to host a wide variety of motorsport events, from sports car racing and open-wheel series to motorcycle competitions and track days. Its versatility has made it a popular choice for testing and development by racing teams.

What sets Suika Circuit apart is its commitment to sustainability. The facility incorporates solar power, water conservation measures, and utilizes recycled materials in its construction. The surrounding landscape is carefully maintained, preserving the natural beauty of the region. This eco-conscious approach, combined with its challenging layout and top-notch facilities, makes Suika Circuit a unique and highly regarded motorsport venue.
