Miami International Autodrome Mappa Circuito
Maggiori dettagli, tempi sul giro e video per Miami International Autodrome

Miami International Autodrome is a temporary racing circuit built around the Hard Rock Stadium complex in Miami Gardens, Florida, United States. Designed specifically for Formula 1, it debuted on the FIA Formula One World Championship calendar in 2022, hosting the inaugural Miami Grand Prix.

The circuit's layout, conceived by Apex Circuit Design, features 19 corners and a total length of 5.41 kilometers (3.36 miles). It is characterized by a mix of high-speed sections, including a long straight between turns 11 and 17 designed to promote overtaking, and tighter, more technical sections that demand precision and car control. The track's elevation changes are subtle but present, adding another layer of complexity for drivers.

Technically, the circuit is a semi-permanent street circuit, meaning it is constructed on existing roads within the stadium complex but incorporates purpose-built sections of track. The asphalt is a specially chosen blend designed to provide good grip and durability. The circuit's design prioritizes both racing spectacle and spectator experience, with numerous grandstands and hospitality areas offering excellent views of the action.

Currently, the primary type of racing hosted at Miami International Autodrome is Formula 1. While designed with F1 in mind, the track's layout is potentially adaptable to other motorsport series, although no other major racing events have been confirmed as of yet.

What makes Miami International Autodrome unique is its location and the atmosphere surrounding the race. The vibrant city of Miami, combined with the modern facilities of the Hard Rock Stadium, creates a unique and glamorous backdrop for the Grand Prix. The circuit’s design, incorporating both high-speed and technical elements, aims to deliver exciting racing and overtaking opportunities, making it a distinctive addition to the Formula 1 calendar.
