The Autódromo Termas de Río Hondo, located near the city of Termas de Río Hondo in Santiago del Estero province, Argentina, is a modern racing circuit that has rapidly gained international recognition. Opened in 2008 and extensively rebuilt in 2012, the track was designed by the renowned Italian architect Jarno Zaffelli and boasts a challenging and flowing layout.



The 4.806 km (2.986 mi) circuit features a mix of high-speed straights and technical corners, testing a driver's skill and a vehicle's overall performance. The track is run in a clockwise direction and includes 14 turns: 5 left-handers and 9 right-handers. Notable sections include the long back straight, allowing for high top speeds and overtaking opportunities, and the complex sequence of turns leading onto the start/finish straight, demanding precision and control.



Termas de Río Hondo is known for its smooth asphalt and wide track width, which encourages close racing and multiple racing lines. The track is homologated to FIA Grade 2 standards and FIM Grade A, allowing it to host a wide range of international motorsport events. It is a regular fixture on the MotoGP calendar, hosting the Argentinian Grand Prix since 2014. It has also hosted the World Touring Car Championship (WTCC) and various South American racing series.
