Zwartkops Raceway, located west of Pretoria, South Africa, is a historic and versatile motorsport facility that has been a cornerstone of South African racing since its establishment in 1961. Initially a small dirt track, it was transformed into a tarred circuit in the early 1980s and has since undergone several upgrades to meet modern racing standards.



The circuit features a compact 2.4km (1.49 miles) layout characterized by a mix of fast sweepers and tight corners, providing a challenging and rewarding experience for drivers. The track's relatively short length and tight nature encourage close racing and frequent overtaking opportunities. Notable corners include the Turn 1 hairpin, requiring precise braking and car control, and the sweeping Turn 5, demanding commitment and confidence. The main straight allows for high speeds before leading into the braking zone for Turn 1.



Zwartkops is a popular venue for a wide range of motorsport disciplines, including circuit racing, karting, drifting, and motorcycle racing.
