I had the opportunity to hop into a friend’s GR Corolla for a quick lap and feel the car. 

This is a bone-stock GR Corolla Morizo. The only thing I dislike is how quiet the car is. 
Since it's not my car and it's a very special edition, I'm shifting quite gently and not pushing it too hard. if we can get the pace up a bit, It could easily get it under 1:30.

It's much stiffer than I expected, a bit too prone to understeer, but not horribly. I can imagine it would be incredible fun on the gravel road or with less grippy tires. Overall, it's a very solid and enjoyable car.
