This was my 1st trackday in 15 years, my first time driving a rear wheel drive car “fast” and the first time I brought the Z/28 on the track! HPDE in Pacific Raceways, novice group. 06/16.
I was blessed by a fantastic instructor, my times improved by 20seconds since first sessions. this is on street (340 threadwear) tires, there’s probably 15 more seconds that I can easily shave from the lap time. A car crashed on 1st turn and the track was very bumpy with limited runway in case you lose control. I took it safe. next time will be better!
