This wasn't the start to the season I had planned. Lola #710 was supposed to have a new heart—a fresh motor and transmission—but delays meant we had to run with the old setup. I was frustrated, but the pull of the track is too strong.

This session was about resetting my brain. After four months away from any car, and only two days back in the country, my main goal was just to get reacquainted with the machine. My best effort was a 1:16.207. Not my best time, but every lap is a step forward. The hunt for speed starts now.
