One of my (2010 GT-R) hot laps (1:02.455s) testing different lines in preparation for a flying lap to improve my 4th place qualifying time (1:02.266s w/passenger) for a Time Attack, including my going off due to fluids on the track on the first turn of what was to be my flying lap. At the same time as my off, a Supra lost his brakes at the end of the back straight, flew off the track, flipped a few times, went through a fence, off the site, over a road, into a palm tree in someone's yard. Luckily, the driver and passenger are OK. The track was closed, & Time Attack places were awarded based upon qualifying times.
