I finally got the chance to try out some proper racing tires. Unfortunately, the weather did not cooperate with the temps hovering at just above freezing and a killer wind chill. Even with the low temps, the tires still produced good cornering g'forces, so the lap times came down quite a bit from the last time (on Toyos, I ran 2:04). 

There's still a ton of time out there once I get more confidence with this combination. I need a warm day to get the tires sticky; there was such a huge differential between cold and warm with the tire's performance today. I probably won't get the chance to to run again until next spring; at least the weather will be warmer.
