This video captures a hot lap in a 2005 Mazda RX-8 at Texas World Speedway on June 3, 2012. The driver, Heberto Ferrer, was pushing the car to demonstrate the pace of another driver, Martin Cain. The RX-8 features an AEM intake, custom cat-back exhaust, Racing Beat RACE flash, and an ACT 6-puck clutch. The car was running on Nitto NT05 tires (255/40/17) on the 2.9 CW configuration of the track.
