Personal best: 2.00.57 on Sunday 03/08/26. I placed 1st in the Lightspeed Time trial competion (TTD class), competing against seven other drivers.
Track conditions on Sunday were excellent - much better than Saturday 3/7, which was very windy. On Saturday, I placed 3rd in the the time trial with a time of 2.06 while still getting familiar with the track.
By Sunday, I was able to bring my lap times down into the low 2-min range and put together my best lap on the 2nd lap of this time trial session (out of ~3-4 laps). I backed off slightly into Turn 1 after seeing the car ahead of me spin, but I still carried decent speed through the corner.
This was my first weekend driving Thunderhill East (with bypass) in my 2016 Cayman S (981, Manual). I had previously driven Thunderhill East in the reverse configuration once before in my former 987 Cayman S.
