First of all before anyone comments, the short-shifting before the main straight is due to track regulations that day!
Very exited to try out Vålerbanen again, I driven here once before, back in 2013. Not super-fast on the straights, but has some fast corners, and great flow.
In this stint you will se 4 laps, lap times are as following:
1st lap: 1.02.21
2nd lap: 1.01.59
3rd lap: 1.01.54
4th lap: 1.01.02 (skip to 4:53 if you just want to watch the fastest lap)
I do think a sub 1 minute lap was within reah here. Which is kind of the benchmark for this track if you are a fast driver with a fast car.
I did manage to mess up my camera-seetings again, so the footage is not the best...
It's been a long time since my last upload, I do apoligize.
But, you have'nt missed anything. In my last videos I got some problems on the Nordschleife back in 2023. This video was filmed in September 2023, no issues with my fuel-cuts there. Last year i did one single trackday at my local track, no issues with fuel-cuts there either, but I did get a rattle from the drivetrain, that turned out to be a faulty bellhousing (common R35 problem).
All fixed now as we speak, and I'm heading to the Nürburgring in 2 days! Fingers crossed, wish me luck...!
That will hopefully bring more exiting Nürburgring-content in the near future!
