La 992.1 Carrera T è una versione leggera e orientata al guidatore della Carrera base. Utilizza lo stesso flat-six biturbo da 3.0L con 379 hp, abbinato a rapporti più corti e a un cambio manuale a 7 marce opzionale per una risposta più pronta. Il peso è ridotto grazie a vetri più sottili, minore insonorizzazione, maniglie delle porte in tessuto e assenza dei sedili posteriori (anche se possono essere reinseriti). Include aggiornamenti prestazionali come la sospensione PASM Sport (10 mm più bassa), Sport Chrono, un differenziale meccanico a slittamento limitato e lo scarico Sport. I dettagli estetici comprendono specchietti Agate Grey, decalcomanie sulle porte, cerchi da 20/21 pollici in titanio grigio e un cambio a corsa corta. L’abitacolo è essenziale con sedili sportivi, volante GT e materiali semplici.
