The Hankook Ventus F200 is a professional-grade racing slick designed for dry track competition across formula cars, sports racers, and touring cars. As a true slick tire completely devoid of tread pattern, the F200 delivers maximum contact area and grip potential on dry circuits. This tire has proven its capabilities in prestigious championships including European F3, FIA British F4, German DTM touring cars, and British VW Racing Cup.

The F200 optimally combines external profile and internal structure to provide exceptional handling stability, with radial construction engineered specifically for motorsport applications. Available in three compound options—C5 Medium, C7 Soft, and C9 Super Soft—teams can select the appropriate compound based on ambient temperature, circuit characteristics, and race strategy requirements.

Size availability spans 13-inch through 17-inch diameters with various width and diameter combinations tailored to specific vehicle categories. The recommended rim widths and overall dimensions are carefully specified to ensure proper mounting and optimal performance. For example, the popular 180/530R13 fits 7.0-8.5 inch rims with an optimal width of 8 inches, producing a 530mm overall diameter and 180mm tread width.

For formula cars and sports racers, initial hot inflation pressures should target approximately 22 PSI. Fine-tuning inflation pressures adjusts handling characteristics, but fundamental grip improvements should be addressed through spring rates, dampers, sway bars, ride heights, and alignment settings rather than pressure changes alone.

As pure competition equipment, the F200 requires professional mounting, proper heating cycles, and experienced setup knowledge. These tires are NOT street legal and must only be used on closed racing circuits. The F200 represents Hankook's commitment to competitive motorsport, delivering consistent performance and durability that racing teams depend on throughout race weekends.
