PERSONAL BEST 1:40.16 ran BLUE group, RED was full of high end race cars or full enough!
Hotchkis sways (rear full soft)
DBA rotors DS UNO front pad, EBC SR-21 rear
"FE3" shocks- Lowered on stock bolts not to the max
RE-71RS square on 18x10s
DS UNO disappoint! I found these relatively cheap compared to other Ferodo pads and data suggests near DS1.11 performance. I have only ran the EBC pad so have no experience with a Ferodo on this car until now. These were GONE in one weekend, and wore to the backing plate somewhere between home and one day later. It's a good thing I decided to take them out!
No disappointment with the personal BEST! And I also achieved one more lap at 1:40.2 this is very good for a low modified car. So much potential. I am finally learning how to use the Corvette brake pedal, it is not germanic at all and frustrating, inadequate feedback as to retardation and feel. Basically a very light pedal pressure gives results in a ???? way, no linearity etc. etc. On my e36 M3 it was mash hard with good feedback, this thing you mash hard and nothing really happens and the pedal moves alot... it's so wierd.
Interesting cars, on video Camaro ZL1 LE, Cayman GT4, LMP race car, Cayman race, 911 Race, etc.
Had a wierd encounter with a white Hyundai Elantra N in front of a grey one. Good thing the track was not crowded at that moment.
Chin Track Days are a great group of folks with an excellent schedule. The paddock is one of the best prepared and fastest there are in this type of event.
