This video captures my personal best lap in a 1990 Mazda Miata at New Jersey Motorsports Park's Thunderbolt track, achieving a time of 1:33.96. Despite this being my fastest lap to date, there was still room for improvement; I was in the incorrect gear (should have been 4th) for the initial section of the track, was briefly impeded by a GT4 car, and eased off the throttle just before crossing the finish line. My goal is to break into the 1:20s in the upcoming July session.
