This video captures my first race in the Caterham Academy 2020 Green Group at Oulton Park. I secured pole position during a challenging wet qualifying session, with Tom and Deniz starting in second and third places, respectively.

During the race, I initially built a lead despite a strong start from Andy Lund, then had an intense battle with Tom during the latter laps before Tom ultimately took a well-deserved win. A moment at Druids on the final lap will certainly be memorable!

Despite the track drying, I found myself being overly cautious, especially at Island bend, a long, fast left-hander, where Tom gained significant ground. I also noted a need to be more assertive with backmarkers, an area where Tom excelled. Nevertheless, it was an awesome and fun experience, and I'm looking forward to Cadwell in two weeks.
