This video captures a lap from my second track day at Snetterton in 2009. My Ford Fiesta had been upgraded to 170bhp and lightened by removing the rear seats and spare wheel. The car also benefited from improved grip thanks to Goodyear Eagle F1 tires, a significant upgrade from the Pirelli Nero tires used previously.

This particular footage is from my fourth session on the track. While I acknowledge some imperfect gear changes and missed opportunities (like using 2nd gear for the final chicane instead of 3rd), the main goal was to have fun, and I certainly did! I'm already looking forward to the next track day.

Using a split timer, my estimated lap times for this stint were: 1:35, 1:35, 1:33, 1:36, 1:39, and a slower 1:50 lap after a minor slide next to a Mini (that specific lap is between parts 1 and 2 of the video).
