The Porsche 992.1 Carrera GTS, introduced in 2021, is a high-performance variant of the 911 lineup, bridging the gap between the Carrera S and the Turbo models. Powered by a 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged flat-six engine, it delivers 473 horsepower and 420 lb-ft of torque, paired with either an 8-speed PDK dual-clutch automatic or a 7-speed manual transmission. The GTS achieves 0-60 mph in 3.1 seconds with the PDK and all-wheel-drive configuration.
The Carrera GTS features unique design elements, including black accents on the wheels, trim, and badging, as well as standard center-lock wheels borrowed from the Turbo S. A sport-tuned suspension, lowered ride height, and Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) provide sharper handling. Optional rear-axle steering and lightweight components enhance agility and driving dynamics.
Inside, the GTS offers a driver-focused cabin with Race-Tex upholstery, optional lightweight bucket seats, and a GT-specific steering wheel. Standard features include a Sport Chrono package and the latest Porsche infotainment system. The Carrera GTS is celebrated for delivering a versatile mix of everyday usability and thrilling performance, making it a favorite among enthusiasts.
