The BMW M5 CS F90 (2021-2022) represents the most extreme M5 variant, positioned above the Competition model. The CS features the S63 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 producing 627 horsepower (467 kW) at 6,000 rpm and 553 lb-ft (750 Nm) of torque from 1,800-5,950 rpm. Power is delivered through an 8-speed automatic transmission to BMW's M xDrive all-wheel-drive system with rear-bias. Performance includes 0-60 mph in 2.9 seconds with top speed of 190 mph. The CS features extensive weight reduction including carbon fiber hood, roof, trunk, front splitter, rear diffuser, and lightweight wheels, saving approximately 230 pounds versus standard M5. Additional features include gold-painted brake calipers, unique interior trim, Pirelli P Zero Corsa tires, and exclusive CS badging. Limited production enhances exclusivity. The M5 CS combines supercar-level acceleration with sedan practicality, representing the ultimate expression of BMW's super sedan philosophy.
