Motorsport Arena Oschersleben Mappa Circuito
Maggiori dettagli, tempi sul giro e video per Motorsport Arena Oschersleben

Motorsport Arena Oschersleben, located near Magdeburg in Germany, is a permanent racing circuit steeped in history. Opened in 1997 as Motopark Oschersleben, it was the third permanent track in former East Germany after the fall of the Berlin Wall. The track was renamed Motorsport Arena Oschersleben in 2005 to reflect its broader appeal.

The circuit boasts a challenging 3.667-kilometer (2.278-mile) layout, characterized by a mix of fast straights and tight, technical corners. Its relatively flat topography doesn't offer significant elevation changes, but the corner combinations, particularly the "Triple," a fast left-right-left sequence, demand precision and driver skill. The track features 14 turns: 6 left-handers and 8 right-handers. Key overtaking opportunities exist at Turn 1, a sharp right-hander after the start/finish straight, and at the hairpin Turn 13.

Technically, Oschersleben is a medium-grip circuit that rewards a balanced car setup. Its abrasive asphalt surface can be demanding on tires, requiring teams to carefully manage degradation. The track is known for its consistent weather, but sudden showers can drastically change the racing conditions.

Motorsport Arena Oschersleben hosts a wide variety of racing events, including the ADAC GT Masters, the German Touring Car Championship (DTM in the past), and various motorcycle racing series. It has also been a popular venue for testing and development for numerous racing teams. The circuit's unique characteristic is its versatility, catering to both car and motorcycle racing with equal success. Its relatively compact layout and excellent spectator facilities make it a fan-friendly venue, contributing to its enduring popularity within the German motorsport landscape.
