2005 Mazda RX-8 base 6MT hot laps at the new Dominion Raceway in Thornsburg, VA at the TrackDaze October 2016 open track event.

The car is prepped for Time Attack competition in NASA's TTD class. NASA TT is a time attack style event where the best lap of the day is counted.

Best lap of 1:36:78.

Affectionately known by locals as "the Thornburg Ring", it is a technical track that combines high speed straights, low speed technical sections, and city circuit style barriers with plenty of opportunities for left foot braking.
