First shakedown of the 2022 race season.
Over the winter we had the guys over at PowerSport Garage in Calabogie add a full roll cage, front splitter and wing to our 2004 BMW E46 M3.
After a couple laps, I’d be lying if I didn’t say It was a little sketchy at first considering the conditions started off wet, it was my first time back in the car after the winter, we didn’t have proper tires, and it was my first time ever on track at Shannonville Motorsport Park.
With that being said, by the afternoon sessions things were clearing up and I started to feel pretty good about some of the final laps.
The first race weekend of the 2022 CASC season is May 7th at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park and we’re gunning for a podium in GT3, so we still have a long way to go before now and then to get up to speed
