This video captures a thrilling lap at Streets of Willow, where the driver achieved a new personal best of 1:21.21. The official timing for this lap (Lap 4 of 6) was 1:21.4, marking a 1.2-second improvement since the previous May on the same A7 tires.

The newly paved track offered excellent conditions in the morning, though it became a bit greasy later in the day. The driver noted that a potentially faster Lap 5 was hindered by another car on the back straight.

The vehicle is a 2007 Chevrolet Corvette Z06, running on mid-heat cycled A7 tires mounted on Forgestar 18-inch wheels (315mm front, 345mm rear). Performance modifications include Phadt Stage 1 shocks/bars, poly bushings, a cold air intake, and a ported/polished intake. The engine is otherwise stock, featuring the WCCH valve fix.

Braking is handled by Willwood big brakes up front, with stock calipers in the rear utilizing DTC 60 pads, which are slated for an upgrade to Willwood pads soon. Data was captured using an Aim Solo DL, and the video was produced with Race Render software. The video notes a minor issue with the latest Race Render version not correctly calculating gear shifts, specifically missing the 4th gear upshift. Video footage was recorded using a GoPro Hero 3 inside the car with a mic wired to the exhaust, and a Hero 3+ on the windshield. The sunrise lighting presented some challenges for video quality.
