CSCA Supersprint / MX-5 Club track day organised by Triumph Sports Owners Association at One Raceway. We ran Wakefield circuit in the morning on a damp and drying track then Shelley circuit in the afternoon. Having sold my 2015 MX-5 1.5L ND a few weeks ago, this was my first drive in Alex's 1999 NB8A. It's stock but we were using the old 16x6.5 RE71RS tyres from my ND on NB8B wheels so that put us into Clubman class. This video shows Run 3 on Wakefield circuit: 1:17.385, 1:16.056, 1:14.814, 1:14.414 (PB), 1:14.992, 1:17.968. I only had a few clear laps as I was lifting off to let faster cars through. My fastest was 2.3s slower than in my old ND and I'm sure there's heaps more in it.
