Has been several years since the original Sonoma Raceway comparison video (Back before I even had this channel) Lots of driver mod upgrading and the surface was repaved November 23. Decided to drop a higher pace version. Roughly 6 seconds faster than my episode 2 time! 50 track days will do that to you!

Best lap I've ever done in Assetto Corsa is a mid 1.49... Which happened to be my real life PB on clapped ECF tires. 1.49.48. This AC lap was from a practice session last week before the event. The real car has another ~3 seconds in it, on fresh rubber. Cannot break into the 48's on Sim, been stuck.

Once again, the consistency between sim inputs and real life is nearly spot on. I will die on the hill that sim practice is beyond worth your time if you track. Sim f82 is a little more prone to spinning tires than real life. Had I not messed up turn 11 on the sim lap. They would have been identical laps. I'm way more on razors edge with sim lap; real life has more control.
