This video captures Malcolm Edeson's fastest race lap (Lap 5) during the 2016 Birkett 6Hr Relay at Silverstone GP Historic. Despite starting with a nearly full fuel tank, Malcolm achieved a lap time of 2:30.86, a target he had aimed for in the Toyota GT86.

The lap wasn't perfect, as he noted losing over half a second at Copse corner due to understeer, which caused him to run wide of the apex. His theoretical best time, combining his fastest sectors, was calculated at 2:29.9.

The Toyota GT86 used in the race has relatively standard power, with an estimated increase of 15-20 bhp. It was equipped with Toyo R888R tires. A limiting factor for the car's performance was the inability to lower the car or add camber beyond the standard road-going setup without further modifications.
