This video features a highly tuned 400HP Mitsubishi Lancer Evo IX RS during a track day at Adria International Raceway in 2021. The event was held in collaboration with the WRC Team, an Italian club for rally-style car enthusiasts, as part of the annual Lancer Evo Day.

The Evo IX RS, known for its 'ready to race' heritage, is a lightweight version designed for rally and racing teams. It features a 5-speed manual gearbox with close ratios, an aluminum roof, minimalist interiors, and a titanium-magnesium turbine for enhanced response and reduced turbo lag.

The owner of this particular Evo IX RS has implemented significant upgrades for track performance. Weight reduction was achieved through carbon aftermarket trunk lid and front hood replacements. Performance enhancements include Öhlins Road & Track suspensions, Alcon Club Race brakes, and a modified 2.0-liter 4G63 engine. Engine modifications comprise a larger intercooler, upgraded fuel pump and injectors, a custom camshaft, an aftermarket exhaust, and an ECU tune. An external wastegate and screamer pipe are also believed to be installed. The car runs on Yokohama ADVAN A052 semislick tires.

The onboard footage showcases the driver's two best laps of the day on the new, longer Adria layout. The fastest lap, recorded at 2:02.200, is particularly impressive for a street-legal vehicle in this class.
