WDCR SCCA event at the Shenandoah Circuit. First time running 200 TW tires on the track. Love the grip and predictability of the new Falken RT660, set the new PB of 1:47:32. Harry's Lap Timer was on/off due to bad signal, metrics seemed delayed (I'm using the phone GPS so the refreshing rate sucks). Had a better run in the session later but blocked by traffic in the end.
Also tried the self positive talk to improve consistency. It was challenging during high speed, found myself murmuring afterward. Need some preparation beforehand to make it happen.
Need more patience before the exit at Corkscrew and improving the confidence of late-braking. The only excuse is stock leather seats have zero lateral support, got thrown around a lot at this track because the corners are really tight, so Sparco is on my wishlist.
Car had at least 5 seconds in it, driver mods are next.
