The Tesla Model 3 Performance Mk2, unveiled in 2024 as part of the "Highland" refresh, represents a significant evolution of Tesla's high-performance electric sedan. This second-generation Model 3 Performance features Tesla's fourth-generation drive unit, delivering 510 horsepower and 546 lb-ft of torque through an all-wheel-drive system that launches the car from 0-60 mph in just 2.9 seconds.
The Mk2 brings substantial track-focused upgrades including Track Mode V3 with adaptive dampers, carbon fiber front lip and rear spoiler, and improved high-performance brakes with better heat management. The redesigned front fascia features functional air vents for brake cooling, while the lowered suspension provides sharper handling characteristics.
Inside, Tesla introduced new sport seats with integrated Ludicrous Mode graphics, borrowed from the Model S Plaid. The 79 kWh battery pack provides over 300 miles of range while supporting 250kW DC fast charging. With a top speed of 163 mph and OEM Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires in a staggered 255/35R20 front and 285/30R20 rear setup, the Model 3 Performance Mk2 is purpose-built for enthusiasts who demand both everyday practicality and weekend track capability.
