Nishitokyo City is the "new city." Nishitokyo is in Tokyo. Population is about 200,000. Nishitokyo was born in 2001 from merger of Tanashi and Hoya. Just over 20 years of history. Nishitokyo residents live in a "new city." But Nishitokyo has no "characteristics." No tourist spots. No famous companies. Nishitokyo is an "ordinary residential area." Nishitokyo is about 20km from Tokyo's center. About 30 minutes by train. Many Nishitokyo residents commute to city center. For Nishitokyo residents, "cars" are unnecessary. Nishitokyo has no circuit. Nishitokyo residents live in the new city. Not interested in motorsport.
