The front radiators have large (11x25 mm) protector grille. They are not restrictive at all, and I don't believe removing them would change the outcome.
The coolant temps increase by about 30 °F in just one lap, and went as much as 237 degrees in 2-3 laps, after which I did cool-down laps...
