Carolina Motorsports Park hosted their first Turn One Track Day after a full repaving and the track is fast. The track layout is unchanged, but the new engineered track surface makes the track feel completely different. The new pavement is fast and is easy on tires. The asphalt is a special mix for race tracks and has a hardened, smooth outer layer. Best lap time was a 1:41.6!
