Personal best lap of the day, 1:45.2. Novice group in a 2023 C8 Z51 with 4.5 year old Pilot Sport 4S tires. Left in the part where I immediately overshot turn 1 as a reminder of why you shouldn't focus too hard on your lap timer while still on the track! I was looking down at my dash as I crossed the start/finish since I knew it was going to be a good lap, and by the time I looked up I wasn't expecting to already be at the turn in point. I had scrubbed enough speed to make the turn, but missed it just from not paying attention.
