The Chevrolet Corvette C8 Z06 Z07 is a high-performance variant of the mid-engine C8 Corvette Z06, designed to push the capabilities of the Z06 for track-focused enthusiasts. Introduced in 2023, the Z06 is powered by a 5.5L naturally aspirated V8 engine (LT6) that delivers 670 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque, making it the most powerful naturally aspirated V8 in a production car. This flat-plane crank engine allows the Z06 to rev up to 8,600 rpm, providing an exhilarating driving experience and a distinct, high-revving exhaust note.
The Z07 Performance Package enhances the Z06’s track abilities with several upgrades. This package includes carbon-ceramic brakes, which offer superior stopping power and heat management, and a specially tuned suspension for even more precise handling. The Z07 also adds Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 R tires, specifically designed for optimal grip on the track. Aerodynamic enhancements, such as a larger carbon-fiber rear wing, front dive planes, and a front splitter, increase downforce for improved stability at high speeds.
Inside, the Z06 Z07 features a driver-focused cockpit with premium materials like carbon fiber, leather, and Alcantara. Track-oriented displays, adjustable performance modes, and an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission provide seamless power delivery and allow drivers to tailor the car’s performance characteristics.
