Acura NSX Type S

The Acura NSX Type S is a high-performance, limited-edition version of the NSX supercar, introduced in 2022 to mark the final production year of the second-generation NSX. It features an enhanced 3.5-liter twin-turbocharged V6 hybrid powertrain paired with three electric motors, producing a combined 600 horsepower and 492 lb-ft of torque—up from the standard NSX’s output. Power is managed by a 9-speed dual-clutch transmission and Acura’s Sport Hybrid Super Handling All-Wheel Drive (SH-AWD) system.

The Type S boasts exclusive performance upgrades, including a revised turbocharger design inspired by the NSX GT3 race car, a larger battery for improved hybrid assist, and recalibrated software for quicker shifts and enhanced acceleration. It can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in approximately 3.1 seconds.

Exterior enhancements include a more aggressive front fascia, a carbon fiber front splitter, rear diffuser, roof, and optional carbon ceramic brakes. Lightweight forged wheels, wider rear tires, and exclusive Type S badges set it apart. Inside, the cabin features Alcantara and leather upholstery, Type S badging, and carbon fiber accents.

Limited to just 350 units globally, the Acura NSX Type S delivers a blend of electrified performance, striking design, and exclusivity, making it a fitting farewell to the second-generation NSX.
