Finally sub-2! This was my 2nd time ever at Buttonwillow and we bested our previous super slow time by about 10 seconds! As you can see in this video, there is so much time left on the table. The lap was downright sloppy. The car's setup is pretty awful for Buttonwillow. I'm bouncing everywhere and it feels like I'm wrestling a dragon trying to keep the car straight. In this PB lap, I ruined my entry into sunrise, took a terrible line through cotton corners, didn't even jump bus stop like I should've, entered riverside way too slow, lifted when I shouldn't have through the esses, and totally biffed my exit at sunset. So much time that I gave away, but I'm still happy with a 1:57 for only having been to BRP twice. I know where I'm slow now, and I'm excited to hunt for a sub 1:55 soon!
