Beautiful afternoon at NCM. In a single session I was able to do better than my previous PB on 3 consecutive laps, then did a cool down lap to get my tire and brake temps back down and was able to end the session with a hot lap of 2:17.58, shaving well over a half second off my previous PB of 2:18.20. Today my goals were focusing on the concepts of "smooth is fast" (while still driving aggressively/assertively) and keeping my vision and focus up and ahead. Today reinforced the importance of these two concepts.
