The Dallara F308 FPT represents Dallara's Formula 3 chassis used in European F3 championships. The F308 features a carbon fiber monocoque chassis with various engine options including Mercedes-Benz, Volkswagen, or Mugen-Honda 2.0L four-cylinders producing approximately 210 horsepower. Power is delivered through a Hewland 6-speed sequential gearbox. The F308 includes advanced aerodynamics with adjustable front and rear wings, pushrod suspension, racing brakes, and weighs approximately 1,212 pounds including driver. The F308 served as a crucial driver development platform with numerous future F1 drivers competing in F308-equipped championships.
