Autodrom Most Notes

The Autodrom Most is a 21 turn, 2.62-mile (4.21-km) FIA Grade 2 road course constructed in 1983 in Most, Czech Republic. The facility is a staple part of several local and regional motorsports series, and since April 2021, it will also host the Superbike World Championship for the next five years.  The location of the circuit at the heart of Europe, an hour ride away from Prague, Czech Republic, or from Dresden, Germany, and far from the sea, explains its continental type of climate with warm summers and cold, snowy winters. The average lap time of this circuit is 1:53, with an average speed of 83 mph (133 km/h).

There is a lot of open space around Autodrom Most, which features a considerable elevation change through the course. Most of the turns are fast-paced sweepers, and in the main straightaway, high-performance Vehicles can develop velocities near 250 km/hour (155 mph). The Start/Finish Line sits in the middle of the front straightaway, essentially the only straight in the whole circuit. The turns number two, 10, and 20 are the tightest ones, as most of the turns only at a slight change of direction and do not require much braking from the drivers. Autodrom is a safe yet challenging raceway worth racing for experienced drivers and newbies alike.
