Fastest time of day chasing a friends manual Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 in the M2 Competition. Posted a 2:23.93 time with an optimal lap of 2:23.09 up for grabs with the Yokohama AD09 tires. Both cars are putting out stock power through a manual transmission and running on 200tw tires. 

My previous personal best from 2023 was a 2:22.48 with the smaller sized 255/275 35 profile Bridgestone RE71RS'. Compared to the AD09's, they are a more aggressive compound but did not take heat and wear as friendly as these Yokohamas. The out-right grip is not as present, but the AD09's have begun to show me just how capable of a lapping tire it is, as the consistency of their performance does not waver as quickly as the later choice and proves to be a friendly drivers training tire, I am beginning to like them more and more. 

Next year I plan to return to the RE71RS or similarily compared Nankang CRS and hope to be able to break down to the 2:20 flat mark, keen to see future improvements overall.
