Track day with Lightspeed, running in the Advanced Run Group on a 105dB day. All the fast cars were out. Over half the run group were GT3s or GT3RS's. I was the Miata of the run group.

Was not my best day at the track, I felt off my game all day. Was tired from not sleeping well, the low sun casting big shadows or shining directly in my eyes was difficult to deal with. I also found a good portion of my mental capacity being taken up with situational awareness. So many drivers of different skill levels all around me, some very fast guys and lots of unpredictable guys. All excuses, need to do better next time.

The new ME20 Brake Pads were a big upgrade. I have more braking power now, so I need to recalibrate my brain to let me brake later.

This was the first session, it was sub 50 degrees and all areas in the shade were still damp. I don't think my tires really gained grip until the 4th lap. My VBOX GPS box fell off the windshield on lap 1, so I had to pull in, unbelt, re-attach the suction cup, re-do my belts and then get back on track. At least 6 drivers went off in this session, turn 6 had a pile of sand on the apex for half the session. Not a clean start to the day for the group.
