X-Bow GT4

Anmerkungen

The KTM X-Bow GT4 is a purpose-built GT4 racing car developed by Austrian motorcycle manufacturer KTM in collaboration with Reiter Engineering for international GT4 championships. The GT4 features an Audi-sourced 2.0-liter TFSI turbocharged inline-four engine producing approximately 360 horsepower according to GT4 Balance of Performance regulations. Power is delivered through a 6-speed sequential racing gearbox with paddle shifters to the rear wheels.

The X-Bow GT4 features advanced construction with a carbon fiber monocoque chassis, carbon fiber bodywork, aggressive aerodynamics with large rear wing and front splitter generating significant downforce, racing suspension with adjustable dampers, larger brakes with six-piston calipers, center-lock wheels, and FIA safety equipment. Weighing approximately 2,425 pounds (1,100 kg) according to GT4 regulations, the X-Bow GT4 achieves exceptional power-to-weight ratio and handling agility. The unique aspect of the X-Bow GT4 is its open-cockpit race car design with fighter jet-inspired aesthetics, no windshield in some configurations (later regulations required enclosed cockpit), and extreme lightweight construction derived from KTM's motorcycle racing expertise. The X-Bow GT4 has competed successfully in GT4 championships worldwide including GT4 European Series, British GT, and various national championships. KTM provides comprehensive customer racing support including technical assistance, spare parts programs, and driver coaching. The X-Bow GT4 offers unique race car aesthetics, lightweight construction, and competitive GT4 performance in a distinctive package combining motorcycle manufacturer expertise with modern GT racing technology.
